Trabucco XPLORE MTC Reel

The XPLORE MTC is a compact reel featuring 10 (9SS+1RS) double-sealed stainless steel ball bearings, with a housing and rotor made from a special alloy resistant to corrosion and mechanical stress. The long cast aluminum spool has a special "V" shaped lip that facilitates quick line release, enabling long casts to a fixed point. The round metal clip is very useful when the baiting area needs to be reached precisely.

The strong shaft along with the stainless steel main gear ensures smooth operation and long-lasting durability even under tough conditions. The oversized aluminum pickup combined with the anti-twist roller prevents accidental line breakage, ensuring smooth line flow. The Infinite Anti-Reverse system allows rotor rotation in one direction only.

The fully sealed front drag (100% waterproof and dustproof) is equipped with steel washers interleaved with felt discs impregnated with oil. The Hyper Precision system enables micro-adjustments of the drag during the fight. The CNC-machined aluminum crank, made from a single cast piece, screws into the reel body (in the retrieval direction). The grippy knob fits perfectly in the angler’s palm, providing a firm grip and ease of use.

NOTE: Sizes 2500 and 3500 are perfect for still fishing with a match rod (using a waggler) or bolognese style, while sizes 4500 and 5500 are ideal for feeder fishing.
