Turbo Tigris are actually tubers associated with nuts, hence the name tigernuts. They have long been recognized for their health benefits, containing high levels of fiber, protein, and natural sugars, rich in minerals like phosphorus, potassium, and vitamins C and E. Their crunchy shell combined with the sweet inner core are characteristics that attract carp like a magnet, leading them to consume these in large quantities. Moreover, due to their texture, they protect the rig from attacks by other species, such as crayfish or small catfish.

The nutritional qualities of tigernuts are exceptional, and for a long time, their use was based on raw baiting without any additional additives. This makes tigernuts a primary bait in some lakes where fishing with classic baits is compromised. The jarred tigernuts are carefully selected to be used directly as hook bait.

The Turbo Tigris range includes a type of large tigernut (XL variant) as well as a black tigernut. These natural, crunchy delicacies have been infused with well-known flavors: natural acid, N-butiric acid, cinnamon and chili, honey and palinca, Big Carp, and coconut.
