The Suniwa SW is a spinning reel recently launched by the French manufacturer Sunset, in collaboration with the renowned Japanese manufacturer Ryobi. It integrates cutting-edge technologies and materials. The reel features a lightweight yet sturdy body, made from innovative NCRT material (a metal and polymer alloy). Although its reduced weight might suggest fragility, the gears are durable, with an estimated lifespan of many seasons of intensive use. Inside the body, there are 5 corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearings, ensuring smooth operation.

Suniwa is equipped with a micrometric front Multi-Disk carbon drag system, and the anodized aluminum spool, with a matte finish, can hold a significant amount of line. The reel features ISS anti-reverse technology and CNC-machined stainless steel main and pinion gears, providing enhanced precision. The oversized pick-up and titanium-coated line roller, together with the manual pick-up release function, prevent accidental closing during casting. The soft-touch knob attached to a CNC-machined aluminum handle can be switched from left to right.
