Sufix Advance is the first monofilament on the market to incorporate HMPE molecules. The new magnetic extrusion process developed by Sufix (Magnetic Extrusion Process) draws the HMPE molecules towards the line surface during extrusion. This blend creates an abrasion-resistant surface without sacrificing softness or low memory.

HMPE molecules – the same material used in Dyneema fibers – reduce line stretch to the point where it has 50% less elongation than standard monofilament, helping with proper rig presentation, bite detection, and efficient lure setting.

Sufix Advance also offers superior knot strength, averaging 96% strength retention during tests (using a grinner/uni knot). Combining hybrid copolymers with HMPE molecules is an industry innovation, as this isn’t naturally possible.
