Sufix Advance is the first monofilament on the market that incorporates HMPE molecules. The new Magnetic Extrusion Process developed by Sufix draws HMPE molecules to the line’s surface during extrusion. This blend creates an abrasion-resistant surface without sacrificing suppleness or low memory.

HMPE molecules – the same material used in Dyneema fibers – reduce line stretch to the point where it has 50% less stretch than standard monofilament, aiding accurate rig presentation, bite detection, and hook setting.

Sufix Advance also offers superior knot strength, recording an average of 96% strength in tests (using a grinner/uni knot). Combining hybrid copolymers with HMPE molecules is an industry innovation, as this is not naturally achievable.
