From the moment the SPOMB was invented, traditional bait-rocket feeding became history. Its excellent aerodynamics help the angler reach baiting distances that are hard to match even with lead and a rig.

The innovation of the SPOMB comes from the way the bait is loaded. Essentially, it is sealed inside the rocket, allowing the angler to use any type of bait, from particles to live bait. During flight, the SPOMB does not lose its load (as happens with a traditional bait rocket), delivering the entire amount of bait to the desired spot.

The enormous success of the SPOMB can be overshadowed by a single drawback: you need a powerful baiting rod, ideally 5.5-6lbs.

The new mini version allows the angler to use a regular 3.5lbs rod for baiting. For maintenance baiting during short sessions, where the noise produced by heavy baiting with a standard SPOMB is not desirable, the MINI SPOMB is an ideal accessory.
