Blue Blue Shalldus performs best in shallow areas. The blade's vibration and the small silhouette trigger fish bites instinctively. The body has a flattened back, which makes the Shalldus produce a natural movement as it is retrieved. The belly area is designed to minimize resistance, not to create pressure against its forward motion. This allows the Shalldus to easily surface even during slow retrieval.

It has a blade but still casts far enough (suitable for long casts) and then swims close to the surface at short distances. Since the blade easily adjusts once it hits the water, it doesn’t rise to the surface even when cast into a strong angled wind. Moreover, because the Shalldus doesn’t dive deep during slow retrieval, you can keep it in or on the breaking waves longer, giving fish enough time to bite.
