Blue Blue Shalldus works best in shallow areas. The blade’s vibration and small silhouette trigger fish bites instinctively. The body has a flattened back, which makes the Shalldus produce a natural movement as it is retrieved. The belly area is designed to minimize resistance, not to create pressure against its forward motion. This way, Shalldus can easily rise to the surface even during slow retrieves.

It has a blade but still casts far enough (suitable for long casts) and then swims close to the surface just beneath it. Because the blade easily adjusts as soon as it hits the water, it doesn’t pop to the surface even against strong crosswinds. Moreover, since Shalldus doesn’t dive deep during slow retrieves, you can leave it in or on breaking waves longer to give fish enough time to strike.
