The Sonar Wireless EnergoTeam Master is an efficient device for obtaining more information from the fishing spot. The screen is shaped like a mobile phone and is made from a solid housing crafted from extremely shock-resistant ABS plastic. The display shows information in color, which helps to better distinguish the structures on the substrate. The operating principle involves sending sound waves emitted by the yellow probe, which, when reflected back to the transducer, profile the substrate and provide real-time data about the shape, profile, and even hardness of the substrate. The scan can differentiate between the size of the fish it detects, meaning there are different icons for large or small fish. The depth at which the fish are detected can be tracked on the right column of the display. For identifying the substrate as well as patches of vegetation, a corresponding icon will appear on the screen. The rock icon indicates that there are stones or hard clay on the substrate. Two rock icons signify a large, broken formation. When three stone icons appear, there are large rocks and fallen trees on the substrate. To position the probe, all you need to do is cast the yellow probe using a fishing rod. The device (the sonar itself) is powered by 4 AAA batteries (high-quality batteries are recommended), which are not included. The scanning probe operates on a CR2032 battery, included in the package.
