The SolarFlex Hoody features technologies developed for sun protection and is designed to provide low thermal comfort during the hottest periods of the year while effectively protecting the head area. This men's quick-drying shirt uses COR3™ fabric to fight odors and wick moisture, keeping you dry throughout your outing. It is rated UPF 50 for sun protection, with sleeves and shoulders built for comfort and natural movement.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 allows only 1/50 of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last for the lifetime of the garment.
