Simms Women's SolarFlex Cooling Hoody, Steel Blue

Simms Women's SolarFlex Cooling Hoody, Steel Blue

The Cooling Hoody features technologies developed for sun protection, while also designed to provide a cooling comfort during the hottest periods of the year, offering excellent protection for the head area. This men's quick-dry shirt uses COR3™ fabric to fight odors and wick away moisture, keeping you dry throughout your fishing sessions. It is rated UPF 50 for sun protection, with sleeves and shoulders constructed for comfort and natural movement.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 allows only 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last for the lifetime of the garment.
