The Simms company was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and long-time guide, John Simms. The Simms Wms G3 Guide Jacket is a waterproof jacket designed specifically for women. The innovative design was created by women anglers themselves, combining the latest fabric technologies with tailored design lines, a perfect sleeve fit, and the breathability benefits of three-layer GORE-TEX outer fabric. Fishing-focused features start with Shingle Cuffs that prevent water from entering the sleeve area, a lined collar area that protects against wind, and an adjustable hood that shields against harsh weather. Additional features offer high comfort, including chest pockets, an internal pocket with stretch fabric, and a large vertical zippered rear pocket (big enough to store everything from fishing accessories to personal items), all of which are very helpful during outings on the water. Meanwhile, the main YKK VT9 AQUAGUARD® VISLON® VT9 zipper withstands repeated use and ensures a waterproof closure to keep warmth inside the jacket.
