The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time did not meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Superlight Pant is part of Simms' product line. Made from lightweight, packable, breathable nylon with rain protection, it offers stretch for enhanced comfort. The elastic waistband, zipper, and fabric belt loops are the pants' fastening elements. Simms designed these pants with four pockets: two side pockets and two back pockets, one of which has a zipper. The Superlight pants come in three versions: Short, Regular, and Long.
