So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Sflex Crewneck Shirt features technologies designed for sun protection. This quick-drying shirt with COR3™ fabric is engineered to fight odors and wick away moisture, keeping you dry throughout your outing. It is rated UPF 50 for sun protection, with arms and shoulders built for comfort and natural movement. The Sflex Crewneck is the lightest knitwear in Simms’ portfolio, made from a special smooth 100% polyester fabric with HeiQ that offers enhanced comfort.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun’s UV radiation is blocked. A fabric with a rating of 50 allows only 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces your skin's exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last for the lifetime of the garment.
