The Simms Intruder SolarFlex Hoody is the perfect solution when the strong sun threatens to cut short an afternoon of fishing. It provides enhanced comfort during hot days (thanks to UPF50 sun protection), and the COR3 fabric, which ensures ultra-lightweight clothing with quick drying, allows anglers to enjoy their fishing trips or outdoor activities even on the hottest summer days. The durable and flexible sleeve construction offers a wide range of motion, allowing casting from any angle. The hoody features a special finish with flat seams that create a comfortable feeling when worn against the skin.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric rated 50 allows only 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes by Simms last the lifetime of the garment.
