Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the demanding needs of keeping the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Guide Short is part of Simms' product line. These shorts, made with stretch fabrics, offer maximum mobility and rugged durability for trail, boat, and wet summer days. Quick-drying fabric, odor-absorbing material, and UPF 50 protection are the key features of these shorts. The elastic waistband, button, zipper, and belt loops complete the piece for mobility and comfort. Simms designed these shorts with four pockets: one at the back, one at the thigh, and two on the sides.
