Simms Guide Classic Jacket Carbon

Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on some of the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Guide Classic Jacket is part of Simms’ portfolio and is made from GORE-TEX, which means waterproofing is a key feature. As a tactical jacket, Simms designed this piece with four pockets—two with flaps and two designed for hand warming. Other notable features include double cuffs with velcro adjustment, water-resistant YKK zippers, and a waterproof hood with rear adjustment.
