Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time did not meet the standards needed to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Fall Run Hoody is part of Simms’ portfolio, featuring a main fabric made from recycled polyester with DWR offering an incredible waterproof-to-weight ratio and PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation. Simms designed this piece with three pockets: one interior chest pocket and two zippered hand-warming pockets. Other notable features include water-resistant YKK zippers and a fully insulated hood.
