The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time did not meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

Body temperature on hot summer days can be compromised, but the Double Haul shirt keeps skin cool with strong UPF 30 sun protection, moisture-wicking, and breathable fabric powered by a 4-way stretch construction for comfort in every angle. You can store fishing accessories in the three upper pockets, allowing you to stay on the water for extended periods. The stylish shirt can be worn on the street as well, not just for fishing.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric rated 50 will only allow 1/50 of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last the lifetime of the garment.
