Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the world's most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof bibs available at the time didn’t meet the standards needed to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The CX Bib is a bib overall that provides the waterproof protection needed for trips in adverse weather. Whether you fish monthly or daily, the CX Bib can become indispensable on rainy days. Legendary Simms durability meets multi-layer nylon construction for comfort and waterproofing. Other key features include reinforced knee areas, water-resistant YKK® zippers, adjustable suspenders, and hem. The bib overall has four pockets: two positioned on the upper chest with flaps and two on the thighs—one with a flap and one with a zipper.
