Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After decades of providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water earlier and stay outside longer, no matter the weather.

The Challenger Shirt is a fishing shirt that combines classic design with modern functionality, made from lightweight heather polyester fabric that stretches and dries fast. It features a classic pointed collar, a center back locker loop, and a button-front closure. Chest pockets with drop-in button closures and a hidden zippered bonus pocket make carrying essentials easy. The back yoke extends over the shoulders for improved stretch and mobility, and rear ventilation provides comfort in warm weather. The body is 100% polyester with a 115 g/m² plain weave fabric.
