Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs to keep top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Challenger Shirt is a fishing shirt that combines classic design with modern functionality, made from lightweight heathered polyester fabric that stretches and dries quickly. It features a classic pointed collar, a center back loop, and a button-front closure. Chest pockets with drop-in button closures and a hidden zippered bonus pocket make it easy to carry essentials. The back yoke extends over the shoulders for improved stretch and mobility, and a back vent provides comfort in warm weather. The body is 100% polyester with a 115 g/m² plain weave fabric.
