The Simms Challenger Men's Jacket is a waterproof, breathable fishing jacket made from a stretch, three-layer construction designed to protect against rain, wind and high-speed boat use. The nylon-spandex fabric with C0 DWR treatment provides water resistance and freedom of movement, while the cut allows for layering and comfort during extended wear.

The hood is three-way adjustable and features a visor to preserve peripheral visibility. An internal adjustment system hides exposed drawcords to prevent flapping in the wind. Cuffs adjust with Velcro to seal out water during casting. The jacket includes exterior and interior zippered pockets with YKK zippers, a YKK front zipper with an integrated collar for wind protection, and fully taped seams for watertightness. A kill-switch attachment point is integrated under the right hem.

Simms' proprietary fabric uses Toray Delfy 2-layer technology, waterproof and breathable, with a 10000mm water column rating, providing effective protection against wind and rain.
