The Simms Challenger Men's Jacket is a waterproof, breathable fishing jacket made from a stretch fabric with a three-layer construction, designed for protection in rain, wind and high-speed boat use. The nylon-spandex fabric with C0 DWR treatment provides water resistance and freedom of movement, while the cut allows for layering and comfort during extended wear.

The hood is 3-way adjustable and features a visor to maintain peripheral visibility. The internal adjustment system keeps drawcords out of sight, preventing them from flapping in the wind. Cuffs adjust with Velcro to block water intrusion during casting. The jacket includes exterior and interior pockets with YKK zippers, a YKK front zipper with an integrated collar for wind protection, and fully taped seams for watertightness. A kill switch attachment point is integrated under the right hem.

Simms' proprietary fabric uses Toray Delfy two-layer technology, waterproof and breathable, with a 10000mm water column, providing effective protection against wind and rain.
