The Shimano Ultegra SPOD XTE reel is the new and improved version of the popular and highly regarded Ultegra Spod XTD. From the design elements and reel body material to the key gear components, the Ultegra Spod XTE incorporates advanced materials and technologies found in Shimano’s top models. The reel has the same features as the Ultegra XTE model but has been optimized for long-distance casting and baiting with spods (or use with markers).

NOTE: Currently, the only specifications announced by the manufacturer are spool capacity and number of bearings.
