The Shimano Tyrnos II 50LBS 2-Speed LRS is a robust reel for heavy saltwater fishing, trolling and big game fishing. Designed for offshore use and battling large fish, it features a rigid aluminium body and a duralumin spool for excellent strength. The LRS (Long Range Special) design is made for situations that call for high line capacity and powerful winding performance. The TYR50IILRS model is configured for right-hand retrieve and features 4 corrosion-resistant A-RB bearings.

The reel uses a lever drag system, while its two-speed gearing lets you switch between a fast 4.0:1 gear ratio and a powerful 1.5:1 ratio. It retrieves 111cm of line per handle turn in high gear and 41cm in low gear, offering excellent control for both fast retrieves and demanding fights. Maximum drag is 19kg, and the large spool capacity makes it ideal for fishing with heavy lines at great distances and depths.
