The Shimano Super GT RD is an all-round rear-drag reel designed for targeting larger fish, offering high retrieval power and excellent control during the fight. The exclusive Fightin' Drag system allows quick, precise adjustment of the drag during the fight, providing extra control over powerful fish.

The reel is equipped with an AR-C spool for efficient casting, Aero Wrap II for even line lay and a Power Roller to reduce line twist. The XT-7 body is lightweight and durable, while diecast zinc gears ensure longevity under heavy use. Smooth operation is supported by 3 Shielded stainless steel bearings and one roller bearing, and the machined aluminium handle increases cranking power.
