The Shimano Stradic Spinning rod is developed for freshwater predator fishing and coastal saltwater fishing, offering a high level of sensitivity, accuracy and control. Designed to complement the Stradic reel range, this series uses advanced blank construction technologies to achieve a balance of low weight, strength and efficient power transfer.

The blank is made from high-modulus Carbon XSR with a multidirectional layup, and features Diaflash technology in the lower section, which reduces blank twist during casts and the fight. This combination allows optimal energy transfer, precise casts and excellent lure control, while providing the sensitivity needed to detect the subtlest bites.

The series includes models with Fast and Moderate Fast action, and four-piece Moderate Fast variants aimed at anglers who need easily transportable gear. Each model is tailored to a specific fishing style while maintaining the same precision and quick response characteristics typical of the Stradic range.

Equipment varies by model and includes Fuji reel seats, split EVA handles or cork/EVA combinations, while the four-piece models are fitted with a full cork handle. Fuji Alconite guides in the K, KW or KR series contribute to efficient line management and smooth casting, and are compatible with both monofilament and braided lines.
