The Shimano Stinger Butterfly Flat Light is a pilker designed for Light Jigging techniques, both for vertical jigging and casting. Its flat, asymmetrical body produces an unpredictable action during the descent, imitating the movement of an injured baitfish. The compact profile allows rapid descent into the fish's active zone, and the immediate response to rod action provides excellent control over the lure.

The Flat Light model can be used with steady retrieves, short jerks or with the "lift & fall" technique, where the oscillating motion during the fall can trigger strikes from predators.
