The Shimano Speedmaster Surf is the latest generation of high-strength monofilament lines, designed using cutting-edge technologies. Speedmaster Surf delivers superior casting performance and high resistance to abrasion and breakage. The super-smooth outer coating reduces friction and maintains durability over time. This outer layer protects the line from abrasion caused by external factors (sand pushed by waves, gravel, underwater structures). It also forms a protective barrier against UV rays, which cannot reach the inner core, preventing the line from aging quickly.
