The SLX 71 DC HG is a compact baitcasting reel designed for lure fishing, equipped with Shimano's I-DC4 digital braking system. It monitors spool speed and automatically adjusts braking force during the cast, helping achieve greater distance, improved accuracy and reduced risk of backlash.

The aluminum HAGANE Body provides stiffness and durability, while the S3D spool, Super Free Spool technology and SilentTune system contribute to smooth, efficient operation. The high gear ratio makes this model well-suited for techniques that require fast retrieves and constant lure control.
