Suitable for both fresh and saltwater environments, Nasci reels feature CoreProtect to increase durability and water resistance without adding any extra rotation resistance. Shimano HAGANE Gear cold-forged technology delivers unmatched gear durability compared with cast or machined constructions. SilentDrive – the same technology found on Shimano's flagship reels – tightens gear tolerances to the micron level to reduce unnecessary noise and vibration for smoother winding performance.

Designed to perform with Shimano quality and attention to detail, the newly redesigned Nasci reel series will perform when you need it most. In addition to the top technologies found on previous versions, the Japanese manufacturer has introduced the new concepts CoreProtect (water resistance and corrosion protection), SilentDrive (compared with the previous version, the “click” sound has been eliminated and the gears are quieter), G Free Body (repositioning the center of gravity closer to the rod, reducing fatigue during fishing) and Waterproof Drag (placement of a rubber washer to repel dust and water).
