The new Shimano Miravel model is designed for anglers seeking a reliable reel for both freshwater fishing (perch, pike, zander) and saltwater fishing. The combination of Shimano's most innovative technologies such as HAGANE Gear, X-Ship, and Silent Drive delivers unmatched performance even in tough conditions, with remarkable sensitivity that significantly enhances the fishing experience. The newly launched model is equipped with a metal rotor that incorporates the Coresolid philosophy (quality and strength). This aspect was developed over several years and is designed to eliminate distortion and twisting caused by under-load on the spool body.

X-Protect technology provides high resistance against water ingress into the internal gears without compromising the smooth rotation of the rotor and crankshaft operation. Additionally, it features a Ci4+ body, an advanced version of Shimano’s original patented Ci4 material. This highly durable carbon material maintains 2.5 times more rigidity than Ci4. While improving weight and rigidity, the body remains compact in size. Silent Drive reduces even the smallest play, and internal component vibrations have been eliminated to the highest tolerance level.

Hagane Gear technology provides incredible strength and durability. It contributes to the smooth and precise operation of internal gears. No cutting operations are applied to the gear teeth. Instead, the entire surface is meticulously calculated through a special 3D design and then manufactured using Shimano’s patented cold forging technology. G Free Body is an innovative technology that allows repositioning the center of gravity closer to the spool, reducing hand fatigue during fishing.
