The new Shimano Miravel is designed for anglers looking for a reliable reel for fishing in both freshwater (perch, pike, zander) and saltwater. It features the latest functions and cutting-edge technologies, previously found only on much more expensive reels. These features ensure gear strength, durability and smooth performance.

The combination of Shimano’s most innovative technologies, including HAGANE Gear, X-Ship and Silent Drive, delivers outstanding performance even in challenging conditions. Its remarkable sensitivity also significantly enhances the fishing experience. This newly launched model is equipped with a metal rotor incorporating the Coresolid philosophy of quality and strength. Developed over several years, this design is intended to suppress distortion and twisting under load on the reel body.

X-Protect technology provides a high level of protection against water entering the internal gears, without compromising the rotor’s light rotation or the handle’s smooth operation. The reel also features a Ci4+ body, an advanced version of Shimano’s original patented Ci4 material. This highly durable carbon material is 2.5 times stiffer than Ci4. While improving weight and rigidity, the body remains compact. Silent Drive reduces even the smallest gaps, while oscillation in the internal components has been eliminated to the tightest tolerances.

Hagane Gear technology provides outstanding strength and durability, contributing to the smooth and precise operation of the internal gears. No cutting is performed on the gear teeth. Instead, the entire surface is meticulously calculated using a special 3D design, then produced using Shimano’s patented cold-forging technology. G Free Body is an innovative technology that moves the centre of gravity closer to the reel seat, reducing hand fatigue while fishing.
