Shimano Baitrunner ST 6000 RB spinning reel

Shimano Baitrunner ST 6000 RB Reel

The Shimano Baitrunner ST reel is the entry model in the Baitrunner range, developed for anglers who want to benefit from the advantages of the free-spool system at an affordable price. Designed especially for carp fishing, it is a suitable choice for both beginner anglers and those looking for a reliable reel for recreational sessions.

The rear-adjustable Baitrunner system allows the fish to take line freely before the hookset, and it disengages automatically with a simple turn of the handle. Intuitive and reliable operation makes the reel easy to use even for inexperienced anglers.

The AR-C aluminium spool optimizes line lay and release during casting, helping to increase casting distance and reduce the risk of tangles. The Varispeed system ensures even line distribution on the spool, improving casting and retrieval performance.

The reel is equipped with a balanced double handle, providing smooth and comfortable retrieval. The 6000 size is recommended for medium-sized carp, barbel, tench and for predator fishing with live bait, while the 10000 version is intended for landing big carp and other powerful species, both on small lakes and open waters.
