The Zeck Rippler is a shad developed by well-known German angler Uli Beyer, designed to combine a large profile with reduced weight and a natural action in the water. Its special deep-rib design cuts down the lure's weight and improves body flexibility, producing a very natural movement and making it easy for predators to suck in.

Thanks to the lightweight construction, even the larger sizes can be comfortably fished on lighter rods, without excessive fatigue during retrieval. The Rippler is primarily intended for pike fishing, proving effective on soft-rig setups or jigs, especially in shallower water.

The lure's action can be adjusted to suit preferences or the season. With the tip of the tail left intact, the action is slower and more subtle, ideal for cold water or wary predators. After removing the tail tip, the action becomes more aggressive and lively, perfect for warm periods and active fish.
