Fishunter was designed through the collaboration of the Mikado team with Rolf Schwarzer, one of the most renowned journalists and passionate anglers in Germany. It is a lure dedicated to fishing a wide range of predators both in freshwater and saltwater. The body has been modified and features a hole on the top, through which the jig is inserted (jig sucking in). Another secondary role of the hole is to give the shad a hydrodynamic shape.

The first prototypes focused on creating an innovative lure shape by redesigning the tail paddle to achieve an extremely aggressive action when the shad falls. The oversized tail is meant to produce strong vibrations during retrieval, which results in provoking fish interest. With these shads, considerable casting distances can be achieved, making them especially recommended for pike and zander fishing.
