Rod Pod Solar P1 Compact Worldwide Pod

The P1 Compact Worldwide Pod is a fully redesigned rod pod, made entirely of stainless steel, which can be assembled/disassembled in a very short time. Another useful feature of this rod pod is that the height and angle of the legs can be precisely adjusted even on the most uneven terrain. The ratchet adjustment system (very fine micro-adjustment) allows each leg to be individually set at various angles.

The frame and other components are corrosion-resistant. The legs are attached by screwing (secure fastening is also done by screwing) and can be folded at various angles. The legs measure 17cm in length and can be extended up to 25cm. The legs end with sharp metal tips for easy insertion into the ground.

The revised and improved design of the central rod with a round profile provides stiffness and incredible stability to the rod pod. The central body can be extended from a minimum of 40cm to a maximum of 65cm. The new P1 Compact Worldwide combines all the unique features of the original system (easy to configure and made from the highest quality materials) with improvements such as the unique folding system of the buzz bar support and the leg distance adjustment system.

The transport dimensions of the rod pod are 45x9x20cm, and it is sold together with a green waterproof braided carrying case. The case features padded internal walls to absorb mechanical shocks and is compartmentalized inside for positioning each piece individually.

NOTE: The rod pod is sold without buzz bars (these are purchased separately). The attachment and fastening of the P1 buzz bars is done using Solar’s patented system called "5 Spoke Diamond Grip Adjustment Grip Collar" (the inner section of the support has a D-shaped profile, which prevents the buzz bar from twisting). The thread for attaching the legs and other components (including the buzz bars) is 3/8 BSF.

The Pozi-Loc™ alignment function has been incorporated into all P1 buzz bars. The unique Taper-Loc™ feature ensures that the screwless adjustment system offers aligned adjustments and optimized refinement across the range.
