This system is especially recommended for catfish fishing, but can also be used by carp anglers when fishing from a boat or in places where mounting a classic signaling system is impossible. The weight is light enough not to interfere during fights.

The function is exactly the same as conventional bite alarms, with the note that upon a bite, the alarm signals based on the "shock" transmitted to the rod blank. There is no need to run the line through a classic roller that signals the bite; simply mount the alarm on the rod blank.

The alarms are fixed to the rod with a very sturdy clamp, which has rubber on the inside for a better grip. Because of this, attachment to any rod blank is done without problems. Depending on weather conditions, the station’s range can reach up to 50m. They are delivered in a hard plastic case with a foam interior for safe transport.

NOTE: Black Cat Bite Alarms operate WITHOUT the line running through them (they do not have the classic roller signaling the bite). The alarms have an integrated "gyroscope" system, which signals a bite whenever the alarm is moved in any direction by the fish.
