The APE-X Medium Curve Barbed model is the result of two years of testing and development, constantly improved through collaboration with top anglers, aiming to create the perfect hook for carp fishing. It is a special hook with an eye angled 16° inward and a medium curved shank, specially designed for rigs intended for floating baits as well as boilies fishing.

The very wide gape helps the hook catch and penetrate the fish’s mouth regardless of the rig type or the leader material used. The slightly curved tip (at the final section) of the hook is achieved through a special sharpening technology, and its shape offers advantages when fishing on substrates with submerged obstacles (gravel, roots, ledges, etc.). They are made from Japanese Carbon 80 Steel, giving them increased resistance to corrosion as well as in battles with larger fish.
