The APE-X Curve Barbed model is the result of two years of testing and development, constantly improved through collaboration with top anglers, aimed at creating the ideal hook for carp fishing. It is a special hook with a simple eye, a long and curved shank, and a small micro barb. The matte, anti-reflective RM-Tec finish provides the hook with ideal camouflage on any type of substrate.

One of the rigs commonly associated with this type of hook is the 360-degree rig. Another rig suitable for medium curved shank hooks is the critically balanced boilie rig known as the "Wafter Rig" or "German Rig."

The wide gape helps the hook penetrate and hook the fish's mouth regardless of the rig type or the material used for the leader. The straight, elongated tip of the hook is achieved through a special sharpening technology, and its shape offers advantages when fishing over substrates with underwater obstacles (gravel, logs, ledges, etc.). They are made from Japanese Carbon 80 Steel, which provides enhanced corrosion resistance as well as strength in battles with larger fish.
