The APE-X Continental 2XX Barbed hook model represents the result of two years of testing and development, constantly improved through collaboration with top anglers, aiming to create an ideal hook for carp fishing. It is a special hook with a simple, straight eye, a short, straight shank (following the line of the eye), and a small micro barb. The RM-Tec matte, anti-reflective finish provides the hook with ideal camouflage on any type of substrate.

A notable feature of the Continental 2XX Barbed hooks is their increased strength, taken to the extreme, due to the much thicker Japanese Carbon 80 Steel wire compared to standard models, making them suitable for heavy fishing in snaggy areas when the target fish are of significant size.

The wide opening helps the hook to penetrate and secure in the fish's mouth regardless of the rig type or the material used for the leader line. The straight and elongated tip of the hook is achieved through a special sharpening technology, and its shape offers advantages when fishing on a substrate with submerged obstacles (gravel, logs, ledges, etc).
