The APE-X Chod Barbed hook is the result of two years of testing and development, constantly improved through collaboration with top anglers, aiming to create the ideal hook for carp fishing. This specialized hook features a 10° outward-facing eye, a medium shank, and a micro barb, specifically designed for Chod and D-Rig setups or other setups for floating baits.

The very wide gape helps the hook penetrate and hook the fish's mouth regardless of the rig type or the material used for the leader. The straight, elongated tip of the hook is achieved through a special sharpening technology, and its shape provides advantages when fishing on the bottom with submerged obstacles (gravel, logs, ledges, etc.). They are made from Japanese Carbon 80 Steel, which gives them increased resistance to corrosion as well as durability when battling large fish.
