The Mycro 500+ is a rechargeable headlamp with 6 lighting modes, produced by Nebo in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA. It is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is charged via the micro USB port found by lifting the silicone protective cover on the opposite side of the lamp from the button. The supplied cable connects to the micro USB port and then to a standard USB port or USB adapter.

It features a central white LED that emits a 500-lumen beam on the turbo setting, designed as a boost mode allowing a 30-second activation at a time to prevent the lamp from overheating and to protect the LED.

The lamp is operated using the button on the top of the light, with each press cycling through the modes: high, medium, low, red light, and off. If the lamp remains in any mode for more than 8 seconds, the next press will turn the light off instead of cycling through all the modes. Turbo mode is activated by holding down the button while the lamp is on and will last 30 seconds before reverting to the previous mode or can be turned off sooner by pressing the button again. All modes, except turbo, have a memory recall function, so the lamp will turn on to the last brightness setting used. The red light setting is accessed by holding the button while the light is off, and the light will then cycle through the modes in reverse order: red, low, medium, and high if the button is pressed within 8 seconds. This is useful for preserving natural night vision and handy in situations where low light is required, such as when camping. Each time the lamp changes brightness, it does so gradually, which is easier on the eyes and also helps preserve battery life.
