The Ratterbaits Trout Maggot scented rubber lures are an absolute magnet for attracting trout. The larvae are the preferred type of food for trout, and when the larva is enriched with a fragrant extract—which is truly hard to find on the market—the results are genuinely unique. The thick, tasty-looking body creates natural and smooth movements on retrieval.

Ratterbaits has produced extremely effective baits for catching various predators. Ratterbait rubber lures, when combined with an optimal jig head (lighter jig heads are usually recommended), sink slowly through the water column, acting as an irresistible prey for trout. They are used to collecting larvae in the water column but are also tempted to feed on pellets, and this slow sinking gives them a persistent and irresistible flavour.

Manufacturer’s advice: use jig heads weighing just under 1g on calm waters.
