The Rapala X-Rap Peto is a hybrid lure for predator fishing that combines a rigid ABS body with a soft PVC tail. Its Slow Sinking construction allows the lure to descend slowly and in a nearly horizontal position, making it suitable for steady retrieves as well as jerk-style animations followed by pauses.

During the retrieve, the body produces a wide roll action complemented by a pronounced tail kick. This combination generates vibration and an active presentation even at low speeds, allowing the lure to be used in cold water or when predators are less active.

The soft tail is secured to the body with a 6-point stainless steel plate system designed for a reliable hold. The X-Rap Peto 14 is fitted with two VMC Coastal Black Nr.3 treble hooks, and the package also includes a spare tail.
