Rapala RipStop Lure, YP, 9cm, 7g

Rapala RipStop Lure, YP, 9cm, 7g

The Rapala RipStop is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. Designed for targeting predators such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and hydrodynamic profile allow for accurate casting and deliver an erratic action, with quick side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system consisting of a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension, which brings it almost instantly to a halt when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure gives a subtle side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head rise, triggering strikes from predatory fish. Its body is made from two durable plastic components, with realistic details and carefully crafted finishes. Two VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action keeps it close to its working depth, with a slow rising tendency during pauses.
