Rapala RipStop Lure, MRL, 12cm, 14g

Rapala RipStop Lure, MRL, 12cm, 14g

The Rapala RipStop is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. Designed for targeting predatory species such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and hydrodynamic profile allow for accurate casts and a lively action, with quick lateral movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system, consisting of a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension that brings its forward movement to an almost immediate stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a slight side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head rise, provoking strikes from predatory fish. The body is made from two durable plastic components, with realistic details and carefully crafted finishes. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action helps it stay close to its running depth, with a slow upward drift during pauses. The MRL (Marilyn) colourway features natural reflections, making it ideal for imitating prey fish.
