Rapala RipStop Lure, MKY, 12cm, 14g

Rapala RipStop Lure, MKY, 12cm, 14g

The Rapala RipStop is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and eye-catching colours. It is designed for targeting predatory fish such as zander, perch, pike and asp, and is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and hydrodynamic profile allow for accurate casting and deliver a lively action, with quick side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that mimic a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system consisting of a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension, which brings its forward movement to an almost instant stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure gives a subtle side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head-up rise, triggering strikes from predatory fish. The body is made from two durable plastic components, with realistic details and carefully crafted finishes. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action keeps it close to its running depth, with a slow-rising tendency during pauses. The MKY (Speed Monkey) colour pattern features high-contrast accents that stand out in the water.
