Rapala RipStop Lure, GOBY, 12cm, 14g

Rapala RipStop Lure, GOBY, 12cm, 14g

The Rapala RipStop is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. It is designed for targeting predatory fish such as zander, perch, pike and asp, and is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and hydrodynamic profile allow for accurate casting and a dynamic action, with quick side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a distressed baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system, consisting of a front lip and a rigid plastic tail extension that brings it almost instantly to a stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a slight side-to-side wobble, followed by a slow head rise to trigger strikes from predatory fish. Its body is made from two durable plastic components, with realistic details and carefully applied finishes. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action keeps it close to its running depth, with a slow rising tendency during pauses. The GOBY colour pattern is inspired by the natural appearance of a goby.
