Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, MBS, 12cm, 15g

Rapala RipStop Deep Lure, MBS, 12cm, 15g

The Rapala RipStop Deep is a jerkbait made from durable plastic and available in a wide range of natural and attractive colours. Designed for targeting predatory species such as zander, perch, pike and asp, it is suitable for fishing in both lakes and rivers. Its elongated body and front diving lip allow it to reach depths of 2.40 to 2.90m, producing quick side-to-side movements and sharp changes of direction that imitate a struggling baitfish.

The lure features a Dual Control system, comprising a front diving lip and a rigid plastic tail extension that brings its forward movement to an almost immediate stop when the retrieve is paused. During pauses, the lure makes a slight side-to-side oscillation, followed by a slow head-up rise to trigger strikes from predatory fish. The body is made from two durable plastic components, with realistic finishes and detailing. Three VMC Black Nickel Fine Wire treble hooks complete the lure, while its suspending action keeps it close to its running depth, with a slow-rising tendency during pauses. The MBS (Moss Back Shiner) colour pattern is natural, with an olive-green back, silver flanks with golden reflections and a light-coloured belly, imitating the appearance of a baitfish.
